How do I maintain my solar batteries?

It's simple. Keep an eye on your system using the ePower app, make sure the batteries aren't constantly overcharging, and keep them in a cool, dry place. The system's built-in Battery Management System (BMS) handles most of the complex work for you.

 

What if my system stops working?

First, try using the Self-Diagnosis Tool in your ePower app. If that doesn't fix the problem, contact our 24/7 support team. We can often help remotely or book a technician to visit if needed.

How does solar reduce my carbon footprint?

Solar power replaces electricity from coal and gas (which create pollution) with clean, green energy from the sun. This significantly cuts down your household's greenhouse gas emissions.
 

What happens on cloudy or rainy days, & how long do ePower batteries last??

Your panels will still generate electricity, just not as much. Your system is designed for this. It will automatically use the energy stored in your batteries or draw a small amount from the grid to ensure you always have power. 

 

Yes, with normal use and care, ePower Batteries are estimated to last between 10 and 15 years. They come with a 5-year warranty, which you can extend to 10 years for extra peace of mind.
